％ Percentage, Decimal, Fraction

They are three ways of saying the same thing.

1. 1

   % → decimal

   Divide by 100 (move the point 2 left).

   45% = 0.45

2. 2

   Decimal → %

   Multiply by 100 (move the point 2 right).

   0.7 = 70%

3. 3

   Fraction → decimal

   Divide top by bottom.

   3/5 = 3 ÷ 5 = 0.6

4. 4

   Fraction → %

   Convert to a decimal, then × 100.

   3/5 = 0.6 = 60%
