Split any angle exactly in half with just a compass and straightedge.

    Arc from the vertex

    Place the compass at the corner and draw an arc that crosses both rays.

    Two more arcs

    From each crossing point, draw arcs of equal radius that meet inside the angle.

    Draw the bisector

    Join the vertex to the meeting point — that line bisects the angle.
