Four ways to summarize a set of numbers.

   Mean (average)

   Add them all, divide by how many.

   2,4,6,8 → 20 ÷ 4 = 5

2. 2

   Median

   Sort, then take the middle one.

   3,7,9,12,15 → 9

3. 3

   Mode

   The value that appears most often.

   2,3,3,4,5 → 3

4. 4

   Range

   Largest − smallest.

   4,9,2,10 → 10 − 2 = 8
